PostSubject: History and Legend - Queen Eira   Thu Mar 06, 2014 10:53 pm

Queen Eira Solace, also known as "The Blizzard of the Moon" was the founder of the Lunarian Kingdom. She was the younger sister of the founding King of Solaria, Vier Solace. Unlike her older brother who was known for his godlike Fire magics, Eira was blessed with bottomless talent when it came to Ice magics. Shocking the greatest wizards by mastering the hardest of Ice magics at the age of 9 and defeating the soldiers in swordsmanship at the same time.

During the stalemate of the eight nations, Queen Eira retreated to the frozen mountains of Lunaria to train, later surpassing her previous capabilities. She eventually transcended human capabilities and became somewhat like a god and was later confronted by the Immortal Frostus, whom gifted her with her Regalia. She later challenged Frostus to a duel, to which she was easily defeated and was capable of landing only one successful hit against him with the use of her Regalia. After her defeat, Frostus commended her for being able to unleash Fimbulvetr's true power but told her she would die after 8 days. It was from here that she immediately rushed back to her kingdom and within those 8 days, she had managed to pass down as much knowledge as she could as well as issue orders for the creation of the many defensive structures that still stand in Lunaria today.

She later on vanished, never to return leaving her daughter Eira II heir to the throne. Until today, her strategies and tactics in nocturnal combat as well as Ice magics are still being taught in Lunaria. And even today, nobody has still found her corpse or final resting place. But legends say that wherever she rests, the Regalia Fimbulvetr must be with her, keeping her cool as well as waiting for it's next true master...
