The Weapons of Terra

Below is a list of all the military issued, Custom made, and player made weapons so far discovered in Terra. Each of these are commonly used by most of the 8 kingdoms, so it is safe to assume anyone can get their hands on one, with exception of the custom and player-made weapons.

Description: A simple straight sword, with a rather decent length. Each side is sharpened to slice, and the hilt is designed to fit comfortably in one hand.

History: The longsword is one of the most common weapons in the world. A one handed sword, with good length and power, it is quite versatile and has many uses in battle.

History: The shortsword is one of the most common weapons in the world. A one handed sword, it's short length is made up for by the increased thrusting power of the weapon.

Description: A straight sword. It's one sided blade is one of the sharpest of any weapons, but it is thin and chips easily. It's hilt is about a hand and a half long, able to be wielded with one or two hands

History: The katana has humble origins as the weapon of choice for a group of honorable warriors. It is meant for slicing, with little thrusting power at all.

Materials Used: Steel, folded several times to ensue the blade does not snap.

Description: A curving one handed sword. It's curved blade makes it excellent for slashing and slicing, and specializes in opening gashes and cuts.

History: The scimitar was mostly used by desert people, such as the Solarians, before the world realized it use in it's ability to slash, gash, and maim.

Description: A one handed sword. The Falchion makes nice slicing wounds, and its effective against flesh and cloth, but not so much against armor.

History: The falchion is one of the less used swords, but it is a powerful slicing weapon in the right hands.

Description: A short blade. The dagger has an incredibly short range, but is otherwise an ordinary blade.

History: The dagger is one of the most common weapons in the world. A one handed weapon, it is common favored among assassins or those who wish an easy to handle secondary weapon.

Description: A simple bow. It's draw requires considerable upper body strength to draw effectively, but its range and power are great.

History: The longbow is one of the most common weapons in the world. A bow used by those strong enough to use it.

Description: A simple bow. Its short length makes for an easier draw, but lacks the range and power of a longbow.

History: The shortbow is one of the most common weapons in the world. A bow used by those who are unable to use a longbow, but desire a ranged weapon.

Description: A bow. Its wood bends backward on itself, to add extra range without making it harder to draw.

History: An uncommon type of bow. It has greater range than a shortbow, but lacks the power of a longbow. It is not widely used outside of Sevaraun.

Description: A long weapon. It has a wide arc that makes it effective for sweeping attacks.

History: The Scythe has origins as a farming weapon. However, it's long range and power made it a good weapon for combat.

Description: A player made weapon. Silva's Longsword has the appearance of an ordinary sword, however, the blade is actually frost enchanted. It can enhance the wielder's ice magic, and wounds opened will not easily close.

History: This blade has unknown origins up until it was found by Silva Darkmoon in the year 996.

Description: A player made weapon. Fenris's Dagger had a red hilt, and a glittering blade. It appears to reverse the effects of Lycanthrope within a meter radius.

Description: A player made weapon. Crescent moon blades. The grips are a two headed dragon. The blades are red with black edges, so the blades look like the fire from the dragons. When put together at the hilts, they will lock together and can be used to attract lightning magic and direct it towards enemies. The blades can also spin and it can be thrown like a shuriken.

History: This weapon has unknown origins until they were found by Kira Akuma.
